Gain a foundation of confidence and comfort in discussing suicide with members of your communities and congregations who have lost someone to suicide or are facing suicidal ideation.
We are honored to present a conference for behavioral health providers and clergy to collaborate in addressing suicide with those in our communities and congregations.
The vision for hosting this collaborative conference is to provide behavioral health professionals and clergy a foundation of confidence and comfort in discussing suicide with members of their communities and congregations who have lost someone to suicide, are experiencing suicidal ideation, or know someone who is.
This conference will provide familiarity in intervention and postvention tools, access to resources, and community connections for attendees to utilize in preparation for helping provide guidance to their clients, parishioners, and community members and discuss suicide prevention, grief, education, and awareness.
This conference is unique in that it is designed for both clergy and mental health providers, with the intention of bringing these two professional groups together to more effectively address suicide. This kind of partnership approach can be beneficial to effectively help those contemplating suicide or grieving a suicide loss.
Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a livestream of this conference in your area.
Lunch will be provided to those attending in person; please contact us with any dietary restrictions so we may be able to properly accommodate them.
